Late breaking Poster abstract submission

ICAMPAM is pleased to announce a limited call for Late Breaking Abstracts for poster presentations at ICAMPAM 2024

Late breaking abstract submissions will be accepted during a two-week submission period beginning on Monday, February 26, and closing on Monday, March 18, 2024. Late breaking abstracts will be considered for poster presentation only. No oral presentations will be awarded.

The three main scientific tracks and related themes (example sub-themes given) are as follows:

Technology & Algorithm Development

    • Algorithm development
    • Digital outcomes (e.g., of mobility)
    • Hardware Development
    • Smartphones
    • Validation

Big Data & Statistical Analysis

    • 24 hour measurement approaches
    • Big Data
    • Compositional and isotemporal analyses
    • Functional data analysis
    • Machine learning/Data mining
    • Multi-modal assessment (e.g., GPS, heart rate, biosensors, questionnaire, sensor locations)
    • Longitudinal and continuous measurement
    • Contextual based measurement (e.g., EMA)

  • Clinical populations (evaluation or treatment, for example, in neurological disorders, such as Parkinsons disease, Alzheimer, post-stroke.; chronic metabolic disorders; diabetes, CHF, COPD, osteoarthritis, etc.; musculoskeletal disorders, COVID-19)

How to Submit

All abstracts will be blind-reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

Please note there is a charge of $25USD for each submission. If you have already submitted an abstract during the early submission time, you may submit another late breaking abstract. There is no limit to the number of abstracts you may submit.  Submissions will be open until Monday March 18, 2024.

All submissions will be considered for a poster presentation only.

Late Breaking Abstract Submission Guidelines

To submit an abstract for review, please read and adhere to the submission guidelines below. All submissions must include:

  • ABSTRACT TITLE IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS (max 225 character limit including spaces)
  • Enter names and affiliations of all authors in the order they should appear in the program.
    • Please note: author information will appear in the conference program exactly as it is entered into the submission software!
  • Select a track/theme and keywords that most closely align with your submission.
  • Abstract summary should: (max 2000 character limit)
    • State the study’s objective, methods, results, and conclusions
    • Include an emphasis on the significance of results and general principles over description of common methods and procedures
    • Use standard abbreviations for units of measure. Other abbreviations should be fully spelled out on first mention, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses
    • Abstracts should be submitted in plain text as they will be formatted for the program
  • By submitting an abstract, you agree to present and register to attend ICAMPAM, should your abstract be selected for the program.
  • Abstracts should not report findings that will be published elsewhere prior to the abstract submission. Presentation of the unpublished work at a recent meeting (e.g., within a year) of another society is acceptable where there has been no published abstract.
  • Submitters may upload an additional file (1 page only) of a table or figures in word format to supplement their submission.
