Currently recruiting two PhD students for projects examining the role of ovarian sex hormones in appetite regulation and energy balance. These projects will investigate physiological and behavioural mechanisms underlying energy intake and metabolism, with relevance to women’s health across the lifespan.
Start date is flexible and may occur anytime between September 2026 and September 2027.
Successful candidates will be based at the University of British Columbia Okanagan in Kelowna, BC and will work under the supervision of Dr Sarah Purcell within a collaborative research environment.
Qualifications
Applicant must hold an MSc in nutrition, exercise science or a related field.
